B.1.A. April 14th (online session 8)

Hi everyone!
I hope you enjoyed your holidays. Now, here we are again:)

CLASS
To start with, do this listening and the activities about "listeninag skills". Remember to check both the key and the script.

Now, you're ready to start Unit 7B: phone your classmate and speak about the advantages and disadvantages of living with your parents (page 114 ex. c). Then, read the text and do ex.d page 115. Then, when you speak to me via Zoom/Skype, we'll talk about the issues on page 115 .

After that, move to the grammar section (second conditionals) page 217 and read the blue section. Then, click on the following link to do the activities (handout 7A &B, the key is included).

As we've often seen in class, intonation is very important. Let's practise sentence stress, do the following activities (listen and repeat) before doing ex.3a page 115.

HOMEWORK:

"Speaking exam practice: monologues". I asked you on April 1st to do the following: choose a topic from page 113 ex 7a and use the language in 7b. Record it and paste it in our padlet with your name+date+the topic you chose. Please do it sometime before Friday this week:) That way, we can move on to unit 7B.
