Hi there
Here's the plan for the class today.
CLASS:
First of all, let me give you the key to unit 6C (page 74-75 AND the grammar act.138: see the last page in the key pack)
Then, here are some more grammar ex. for further practice:
https://test-english.com/grammar-points/b2/all-conditionals-mixed-conditionals-alternatives-if-inversion/
https://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/tests/conditional-sentences-3
Then, move on to 6D to watch the TED TALK. The other day, I sent you the link where you can find the audio files to do all the listening activities. Listen to the audios page 76-77 and check your answers (Ex. 1-2-4-5-6). Otherwise, I found it elsewere.
Could you then phone/ contact one of your classmates and do the speaking task (ex.8) together? Then, let me know about the "Challenge part" in the comment sections, just below.
To finish off, let me show you how to describe a photo/picture, and then click on the following link to describe a person (video 1), and go to page 171 to read a sample. Pay attention to the vocabulary in the language box page 78-79 and learn the vocabulary. Your homework for next Thursday will be to do ex. 5 p.78.
HOMEWORK:
Speaking activity: ex. 5 page 78: send a whatsapp to a friend telling you about a person in a photo. Record it (use vocaroo) and paste it on our padlet.

Hi there! Here we are again! As promised, here's another video to know about vocaroo, padlets and using Skype in our classes:) Hope y...
If I had to think of a challenge or goal that I would like to do or have done, maybe I would travel around de world with a backpack. Although it sounds very interesting, I personally believe that it has never happened, and never will be happened. I always have the same pretext, money and time, and meanwhile this don’t change I will travel to Extremadura.
ReplyDeleteOh...Never say never! One never knows...
DeleteRemember: it has never happened and "will never happen"; "the same excuse" and "while this doesn't change, I will..."
Thanks
DeleteWow! That sounds interesting and would be a great experience, indeed!
ReplyDeleteI've only walked 300km and that was one of the most amazing experiences ever:)
Pay attention to the following: "I have always had", "for instance: where to sleep...what would happen or any other problem. "For this reason and because my family is more and more demanding"
"In the past, I felt the same thing" "is a matter of time" "I'm sure I'll do it, I'll get to Santiago".
Wow! Madrid-Lisbon is a long way! and I guess it was really inspiring to get to know that man...
ReplyDeleteCheck the following corrections: "no matter when your turn began""this experience meant a mixture of feelings:" "while I was alone". (Meanwhile is an adverb, "while is a conjunction). "Wouldn't it be better ..." "incredibly, (use commas), "gives me the power to continue"
If I were you, I would have written your third paragraph at the very end: it would be a good conclusion:)
A challenge I would like to fulfill would be to walk the Appalachian route, and be a thru-hikers, that is the name of the people who has walked all the way at once. . The Appalachian is a mountain chain in the east coast of the US, that has a length of 3500 kilometres. The time wouldn't be a problem for me, I love to spend time on the nature, but the money could be, however it's something that I would really like to try, even though I just walk a little part of the path.
