B.2.1.A, April 14th (online session 8)

Hi everybody!
Hope you enjoyed your holidays:)

CLASS:
Let's start by giving you the key to correct "Unit 6 test" I sent you before Easter.
Then, to start Unit 7, let's watch the video "Money CAN buy happiness": a funny and thought-provoking talk. How many words related to "money" can you jot down? (listening)

After that, move on to page 81 to work on vocabulary ex.2. 4. 5. and check your answers. Here's Key unit 7.

Once you've done it, you can do the listening activities on page 82 and check your answers (see key above).

As you may well remember, during our Zoom class, I explained the passive voice. Well, that's our grammar point in this lesson. Have a go and go through ex.10-11-13 and 14 page 82-83. Check the grammar section on page 140 to revise the rules and check your answers (here).

To finish off, phone one of your classmates and speak together about ex.6 page 81 and  ex. 9 page 82.

HOMEWORK:
Grammar: page 141. ex. 1-3.
Writing: write 4 or 5 lines about an object that was designed  for a different purpose to the one they are currently used for (using the passive voice:). Post a comment here below:)
Speaking: in your next speaking session, we'll talk about the video you watched in this session "Money CAN buy happiness".
