B.1.A. (March 19th, online session nº3)

Hi there,
How are things going? Hope you're all fine!

CLASS
First of all, here are the keys to correct:
- the listening  exs. I sent you last day. Listening exam practice (KEY) March 17th
- the grammar activities page 214 Passive voice
- vocabulary bank Cinema, p.231Vocabulary (page 1-2)

Now, time for grammar: let's practise "the passive voice" a bit more: take your handout 6A: the passive + be+past participle. If you didn't come to class, click on this link and do activities a) and b).
And now, you can play Kahoot on your own.

Then let's do the listening "Shindler's list" page 96-97 and do the activities 5 a.b. c.d.e. Here are the answers (page 3 in this link) Listening.

Let's practise some listening and learn some vocabulary so as to talk about Coronavirus. I've been in touch with some of you and on Thursdays we'll be having our first Skype speaking session. Have a look at the vocabulary before that. You may find it useful to deal with the task you'll be given online.

And to finish off and to cheer you up, here is a video with passive voice in songs: please listen and repeat (and sing!)

HOMEWORK:
Remember you need to post your oral mediation on the  Padlet I published on Tuesday.

Speaking: read the cinema interview p.97 and think about your answers and reasons. You should talk to one of your classmates and let them know about it next Tuesday 24th (send them a whatsapp audio).
